New to Cub Scouts!
I was born on 30 March 1969 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. After two years, my father transfered to Cheyenne, Wyoming, where I grew up. Living in Woming, I spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoors. I learned to camp at an early age and some of my earliest memories are fishing with my parents and two brothers. Along the way, I also learned to hunt.

While growing up, myself and my family was very involved in Boy Scouts of America. I started in cub scouts (as you see by the picture) and continued into Boy Scouts. In 1984 I earned the highest award in Boy scouts, I became an Eagle Scout. As I got into high school I became involved in the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps.

See, I did have hair, once!In 1987 I graduated from Cheyenne Central High and joined the Army. I left to basic three weeks after high school graduation. I attended basic training at Fort Bliss, Texas and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sam Houton. My first duty assignment was the 187th Medical Detachment,in Landstuhl, Germany. My next duty assignment was Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. While there I met the woman of my dreams, Melinda, and was married in 1994.

I when went back to Germany, dragging my new wife with me.I was stationed in 3-4 Cavalry Squadron, 3rd Infantry Division, in Schweinfurt, Germany. We next moved to Fort Hood, Texas and I was stationed in 1-67 Armor Battalion, 4th Infantry Division. While there my son Nathan was born.

Enjoying a military ball.Next, I was assigned to the longest tour of my Army career, recruiting in Fresno, California, part of the Los Angeles Recruiting Battalion. While in California, my daughter, Samantha, was born. I left there after three years and am currently stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky at Ireland Army Community Hospital. Here I serve as the NCOIC of the largest clinic in the hospital. I also work as an EMT-B intructor and PHTLS instructor.

In my off time, I enjoy working in my yard, playing on the computer and am an avid reader. I also recently got involved in Cub Scouts with my son, Nathan. I look forward to starting camping with my family.
